How to get to Santander:
By Plane:
Santander has Parayas Airport, situated 10 minutes from the city
centre, which offers daily flights to and from Madrid and Barcelona. Only
50 minutes from Santander along the Cantabrian motorway is the International
Airport at Sondika (Bilbao) that joins Cantabria with all of Europe.
Official Transport:
The Organization has negotiated special conditions with the Air Company
Iberia for the travel arrangements of the congress participants and
their companions.

By Train:
The railway station in Santander welcomes trains of the company RENFE
with direct links to Madrid and other cities like Alicante, Malaga, Palencia
and Valladolid. Through Madrid it is also possible to link up with other
important cities on the Spanish coast.

connect Santander with the cities of Bilbao, Oviedo and Gijon.
By Ferry:
The Maritime
Station of Santander has two weekly links with Plymouth (Great Britain).
By Car:
From Bayonne, Biarritz, San Sebastian and Bilbao along the motorway A-8
From Madrid through Burgos along the N-623, and through Palencia along
the N-611. From La Coruña and Asturias along the N-634.
By Coach:
The Coach Station
of Santander has national links with Madrid and other coastal cities
like Aviles, Oviedo, Gijon, La Coruña, Bilbao etc. And international
connections with great cities of Europe like Brussels, Geneva, Switzerland,
Lyon, Paris, Zurich and Prague.
